The John Vos Family Foundation seeks to improve the lives of individuals and families by engaging organizations that provide access to support services, safe shelter and nourishment. In order to carry out their mission, the John Vos Family Foundation directs financial support to organizations that focus in the following areas:
- Domestic Abuse
- Homelessness
- Mental Health Services
- Alleviation of Hunger and Food Insecurity
Domestic Abuse: We are passionate about ensuring that everyone has a safe, stable and supportive environment in which to grow and thrive. We support programs that provide assistance to individuals who have been victims of domestic abuse as they become independent and restart their lives.
Homelessness: We believe that no person should lack access to housing. We support organizations that offer interim shelter for those in need as well as programs that offer long term housing assistance and skills training as individuals transition from homelessness.
Mental Health Services: We believe that good mental health is the key to a happy, healthy and fulfilling life. We support programs that offer mental health services to individuals as they seek help to improve their well-being.
Alleviation of Hunger and Food Insecurity: We believe that food nourishes both the body and the mind and strive to help reduce hunger and food insecurity in our communities.
